FreeRinger makes free PC-to-phone calls from your browser to over 30 different countries across the globe—or at least that’s the idea. FreeRinger is powered by another free international calling service, Talkster. The calls are ad-supported, so you never have to pay anything, and since the app runs from your browser as a Flash application, you don’t have to install anything to use it.

Make worldwide calls with absolutely no software downloads or installation. It is just a flash based browser application. Sign-up to the service: click on Register, fill out the form and click Register button again. Your e-mail address will be used as login identifier to the service, so please provide a working address.

Enter your friend’s phone number in international format (starting with the country code) and press Call. Just type freeringer.biz?callto=1-800-GOOG-411 into your browser and hit enter. Voila, your call is placed.
